Jennifer supports the firm’s Intellectual Property practice by organizing, preparing, and filing informational disclosure statements with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In this role, she reviews patent applications and gathers applicable prior art for disclosure to the USPTO. When appropriate, Jennifer also collaborates with foreign counsel to obtain or provide materials for citation in U.S. or international patent applications. Additionally, Jennifer monitors a daily docket to ensure all deadlines are met and records are updated.

Before joining Michael Best, Jennifer spent several years as a Legal Assistant with a Wisconsin-based litigation specialty firm. There, she assisted with case management for large litigation matters. Jennifer also drafted documents and correspondence, assisted with research and investigations, and managed records and files.
