Labor and Employment Law
Jennifer routinely represents both employees and employers in mediation, arbitration, litigation and administrative hearings in front of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD) in areas ranging from harassment, retaliation and discrimination claims, non-competition disputes, trade secret misappropriation disputes, and wage and hour disputes. Jennifer also assists employers in developing workplace policies and procedures, employee handbooks, drafting and negotiating restrictive covenants, separation agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
Intellectual Property
Jennifer advises clients on a wide variety of intellectual property and commercial transactional matters including trademark clearance, trademark enforcement, portfolio management and analysis, brand protection, copyrights, technology and licensing agreements,. She also represents IP owners in disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Entertainment Law
In her entertainment practice, Jennifer works with creative individuals and businesses in preparing and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including production agreements, publishing agreements, recording and distribution agreements, collaboration agreements, talent agreements, authorship agreements, commission agreements, and work-for-hire agreements.
