Jecoliah is an Associate who focuses her practice in the area of Regulatory law. She represents clients from a range of industries subject to strict government regulations. Her practice includes compliance counseling, advocacy, and due diligence, as well as enforcement and defense support.
Before joining the firm as an attorney, Jecoliah was a law clerk at Michael Best. While attending law school, she spent two years as a research assistant in George Washington University Law School’s Environmental and Energy Law Program. Jecoliah also served as a law clerk at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). There, she assisted with the agency’s enforcement and compliance actions and researched and drafted communications for new environmental initiatives.
Earlier, Jecoliah worked as a legal researcher and compliance monitor for several governmental and professional regulatory agencies in British Columbia. She also conducted environmental research, analysis, and monitoring at the University of British Columbia including roles at its Biodiversity Research Center and its Forestry Department.
