James assists clients with all aspects of patent drafting and prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and international patent offices. James focuses in the area of mechanical technologies.
He previously worked as a Patent Engineer for Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, where he drafted non-provisional, provisional, design, and PCT applications, performed patentability analyses on new innovations, and prosecuted patent applications globally for the company’s popular PING golf equipment brand.
Earlier in his career, James was a Product Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace. There, he analyzed, designed, and tested mechanical components including gears, clutches, shafts, and splines for aerospace products.
