Overview

Desiree serves as a strategic partner to clients providing representation on immigration matters. Desiree has experience with employment based petitions (R-1, H-2A, H-2B, EB-5), waiver of inadmissibility applications (I-601, I-212), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions, immigrant petitions (I-30), and applications for adjustment of status (I-485), among others.

Prior to joining the firm, Desiree worked at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General, where she defended cases brought against State of Illinois agencies, employees, and officers including the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services in federal and state court in a variety of civil litigation matters, specifically constitutional law issues.
