Connor is an associate in Michael Best’s Corporate practice, assisting clients with a variety of business and transactional matters.
While pursuing his law degree, Connor worked as a summer asociate for Michael Best where he conducted due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, drafted and reviewed complex agreements, and managed corporate reorganizations. His background includes handling corporate governance matters, deal structuring, entity formations, and healthcare regulatory compliance analysis.
Connor also served as a law clerk at Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Inc., where he supported a wide range of legal matters for the organization and its affiliates. He provided legal insight to the company during the health system’s large-scale strategic combination. His work also involved contract management, regulatory compliance, and coordination with outside counsel during transactions, reinforcing his ability to operate effectively within a dynamic legal environment.
Connor gained valuable experience in government relations as a policy analyst intern at Schreiber Government Relations Group. He provided clients with policy briefings, conducted legislative research, and helped prepare testimony for hearings, sharpening his ability to translate complex policy and regulatory developments into actionable guidance.
His earlier roles included serving as a legislative intern in the Wisconsin State Legislature for influential leaders in the state assembly and senate. He also worked as a research assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Turfgrass Diagnostic Lab.
