Bridget conducts research, assists with communications, and performs daily operations to serve Michael Best Strategies’ clients.
Prior to joining Strategies, she worked in the Executive Office of the President for the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) as Special Assistant for Strategy and Communication. In this role, Bridget reviewed and edited speeches for President Donald Trump’s, along with other administration communications and documents. Additionally, she prepared talking points, and assisted with press strategy and media relations for CEA. She also tracked legislation on Capitol Hill and conducted related policy and industry research.
Bridget previously worked as an assistant to the United States Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Lighthizer where she handled correspondence, research, and event logistics. She has also gained experience from several internships, including internships with public affairs research firm Delve LLC, the Presidential Inauguration Committee (for President Trump), the Republican National Convention, and the Republican National Committee.
Her experience also includes roles as a legislative intern for U.S. Congressman Robert Latta (R-Ohio), a parliamentary intern in the Office of MEP Benedek Javor of Hungary, and a Congressional liaisons intern at the U.S. Embassy of Australia.
