Brenden supports the firm’s Intellectual Property practice by organizing, preparing, and filing informational disclosure statements with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In this role, he collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and outside stakeholders to gather necessary information to prepare IDS forms. Additionally, Brenden monitors a daily docket to ensure filing deadlines are met and records are updated.
Before joining Michael Best, Brenden worked as an IDS Specialist for a large, AmLaw 200 law firm. He also worked as an associate underwriter for West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, where he assisted with issuing and renewing insurance policies and collaborated with Human Resources to train assistant underwriters. In this role, Brenden earned CPCU, AINS, and AU designations.
