Before joining Michael Best, Andrew was a Partner with health technology law firm Trifecta General Counsel LLC. He joined Trifecta in 2017 to meet the needs of the fast-growing health tech sector, focusing on innovation, transparency, and service. Andrew’s clients included health tech companies as well as healthcare systems, insurers, and pharmaceutical companies across the U.S. In the digital health industry, Trifecta advised companies in tech spaces including electronic health records, population health, telehealth, HIPAA-compliant cloud, artificial intelligence and machine learning, practice automation, managed integrations, and staffing services, among others.

Earlier in his legal career, Andrew spent six years in-house with healthcare software company Epic Systems Corp., where he served as the Epic’s Compliance Officer for Epic’s cloud-hosted service offering. In this role Andrew gained deep insight into the unique challenges healthcare and health tech businesses face and developed his passion to help them succeed. After his graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Andrew gained initial experience as a Special Prosecutor in both the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office and the Marathon County District Attorney’s Office (Wisconsin) before working for Epic.
