Anastasiya supports clients in Michael Best’s Intellectual Property practice group with a focus on trademark registration, enforcement, and litigation. As a creative herself, she is passionate about helping individuals and companies protect their ideas, brand identities, and creative assets.
She manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, conducts comprehensive clearance searches, and prepares and files applications, Office action responses, renewals, and assignments. Anastasiya advises clients on infringement risk and enforcement strategies, including cease and desist efforts and takedowns. She also supports litigation teams by drafting motions, preparing deposition materials, and handling discovery review. In addition, she contributes to IP due diligence for M&A transactions by reviewing trademark portfolios and identifying potential risks.
Prior to joining Michael Best, Anastasiya worked at a Chicago-based intellectual property firm where she supported trademark prosecution, litigation, and enforcement matters. She also gained experience counseling clients on registrability and brand strategy, managing international filings and correspondence, and assisting with domain name disputes.
