Alexandra is a Legislative Assistant with Michael Best Strategies. She conducts research, assists with communications related to key legislative, political, and regulatory issues, and supports daily operations to serve Michael Best Strategies’ clients.
Before joining Strategies, Alexandra was an Associate at Wolf Den Associates, a management consulting and government contracting firm. Within this role she provided clients federal market insights, competitive assessments, and developed growth strategies based on their needs. She also assessed business development opportunities and created outlines, graphics, and compliance resources for large government contract bids.
Alexandra gained wide-ranging experience through a number of internships. She served as a Government Research Intern at the National Journal, a division of Atlantic Media, where she supported the launch of several initiatives and researched leaders shaping policy and politics at the federal and state level.
Alexandra gained additional experience as a public affairs intern for a Washington, D.C.-based policy advocacy firm where she researched policy issues and drafted reports and client presentations. She also developed press lists, media kits and briefings for domestic and international clients, and monitored U.S. news outlets to develop daily news briefings for international embassy clients.
