Alan brings more than three decades of legal experience to the Real Estate team at Michael Best. With over 20 years as city attorney for the City of Wauwatosa, he offers clients strategic counsel grounded in deep knowledge of municipal law and complex real estate matters. His background in public service and civil litigation provides a well-rounded perspective that helps clients navigate legal challenges with confidence.

Alan is known for guiding buyers, sellers, and developers through property transactions with clarity and care. He advises clients on acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, commercial leases, zoning, land use, and condominium matters. His commitment to client satisfaction and deep understanding of local real estate law ensure a smooth and informed process at every stage.

Previously, he served as assistant attorney general for the Wisconsin Department of Justice and as a law clerk at the US Court of Appeal, Seventh Circuit.
