Salt Lake City As the nation’s sixth most diverse economy — as well as one of its fastest growing — Utah is a site of tremendous economic invigoration. To accommodate the expanding needs of our Western clients, Michael Best established a Salt Lake City office in 2014. We serve the full spectrum of industries in the region, from technology to energy, derivatives, food and beverage, drug and medical devices, water, warehouse logistics, venture capital and debt financings, and agribusiness. As this part of the United States paves the way for long-term sustainability, our Salt Lake City office has become a key site for the firm’s focus on protecting and developing the intangible assets of established and emerging technology companies. To date, we have built a team of more than 15 lawyers in Salt Lake City, many of whom have longstanding ties with the area. They provide experienced counsel across a range of practice groups, including mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment relations, general corporate law, complex commercial litigation, state and federal securities, and capital formation and structuring.
