Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and Michael Best Strategies LLC is pleased to announce the relocation of its Washington, D.C. offices to The Wharf at 1000 Maine, effective February 4. The joint move will place the full-service law firm and national, B2B consulting firm under one roof, as an ongoing effort to provide a one stop shop to help their clients navigate the complex federal regulatory and policymaking environment.
“Since our firm first opened its doors in Washington, D.C. seven years ago, our goal was to establish a presence in our nation’s capital for our clients and attract the best talent,” said David Krutz, Managing Partner of Michael Best. “This move is a clear reflection of those motivations and the dynamic environment we’re looking to establish for both firms.”
The office will be located on Maine Ave. at “The Wharf,” a revitalized waterfront neighborhood within easy reach of Capitol Hill, the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the District of Columbia courthouse. This proximity to key federal institutions will provide direct and frequent access to the infrastructure that shapes the business of law.
"As the entirety of our dynamically talented team comes together in one office, clients of Michael Best and Michael Best Strategies will experience a new level of solutions-oriented representation in Washington,” said Reince Priebus, President & Chief Strategist of Michael Best. “The tremendous growth that our firm continues to experience stems from our unique ability to guide folks through diverse classifications of legal, regulatory and legislative roadways here in Washington."
The Wharf district has quickly become one of the most sought-after destinations in Washington, D.C., and is currently preparing for the next phase of development, which will feature an additional 1.15 million square feet of office, residential, marina, and retail space, as well as several parks and public areas.
“The innovative characteristics of The Wharf are a great simile to the culture we have at our firm,” said Kevin Barner, Managing Partner of Michael Best’s Washington, D.C. office. “We aim to provide our clients with forward-thinking solutions and being located at one D.C.’s most lively districts will further enable us to provide that service.”
Telephone and fax lines will remain the same.
