Madison, WI (April 16, 2018) – Michael Best is pleased to announce that Shane A. Brunner has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
Brunner has over 18 years of experience focusing on intellectual property litigation and other complex commercial disputes. He has represented clients in patent, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition and contract matters in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, biotechnology and computer technologies.

Brunner earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School where he was articles editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and Order of the Coif. Before becoming a lawyer, Brunner obtained a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to work several years as a certified public accountant at a Big Four accounting firm.
