Wisconsin Law Journal Names Robert W. Mulcahy 2018 Leader in the Law

Milwaukee, WI (February 19, 2018) – Robert W. Mulcahy, Labor & Employment Relations Partner at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, has been recognized as a 2018 Leaders in the Law by Wisconsin Law Journal. The list celebrates the top judges, attorneys, and legal professionals making a difference in Wisconsin’s legal community.

For more than 27 years of practice at Michael Best, Mulcahy has established himself as a leader in the firm’s labor & employment relations practice group, specifically with his work in public and private sector management. Mulcahy has extensive experience working on employment discrimination matters and union/management relationships, which has earned him recognition as a trusted and innovative frontrunner in his areas of practice.

Outside of his practice, Mulcahy was instrumental in initiating Michael Best’s mentoring program. As a young attorney, he was able to identify the importance mentoring younger, less experienced colleagues through professional and substantive development and client acquisition.

In addition to his roles with Michael Best, Rob has held significant leadership roles in professional and civic organizations including serving as Past Chair, Milwaukee Bar Association, Employment Law Section; Past Chair, State Bar of Wisconsin, Employment Law Section; and Former Management Representative, WERC’s Council on Municipal Collective Bargaining.

Mulcahy also volunteers his time to numerous organizations in various board leadership roles including, but not limited to, Charles Allis & Villa Terrace Art Museums, American Diabetes Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, United Way, UPAF, and more.

Mulcahy earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 1976 and received his B.S. from Marquette University in 1973.

He was honored at a dinner hosted by the Wisconsin Law Journal on February 15 at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee.
