Michael Best & Friedrich LLP proudly announces its BRIC Wall Blog received second place, beating out more than 15 other highly rated international blogs, in The Expert Institute’s 2015 Best Legal Blog Contest Intellectual Property category. The blog, created and written by Partner Lisa L. Mueller, focuses on life sciences and chemical intellectual property issues in Brazil, Russia, India and China, hence its “BRIC” Wall title.
More than 2,000 blog nominations were submitted for the Best Legal Blog Contest, which were then narrowed down to the top 250 most exciting, entertaining and informative legal blogs online today. Nominees were broken into eight categories, including Intellectual Property, and category winners were determined by the number of votes received. “When I started this blog,” commented Mueller, “I never thought it would take off so quickly and with so much success. I really love sharing my insights and industry experience with a readership of now over 1,000 in more than 130 countries. My inspiration came from discussions with clients, conferences in which I spoke and attended and my colleagues around the globe. I am incredibly honored to be in this elite blog circle.”
Mueller’s BRIC Wall Blog provides unique insights on patent law developments in the BRIC countries, as well other emerging market countries such as South Africa, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Philippines and more. The blog features topics primarily in the chemical and life sciences areas. From time-to-time, patent attorneys from other countries provide guest posts to share their perspective and unique experiences. Visit the BRIC Wall Blog at www.bricwallblog.wordpress.com.
