Milwaukee, WI (September 21, 2015) – Elizabeth N. Larson has joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as an attorney in the firm’s Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group. Ms. Larson will focus on all areas of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, affirmative action and OFCCP compliance.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Larson served as a law clerk for MillerCoors, where she conducted research in a variety of legal matters, including wage garnishments, disability discrimination, immigration law, alcohol and beverage law, privacy and intellectual property. She also served as a student practitioner at the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office, where she had the opportunity to conduct a full criminal trial as the first chair attorney and gained other valuable courtroom skills and experience.
Ms. Larson received her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in 2015 and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota in 2008. She is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2012. During her service, Ms. Larson received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and earned the Naval Aerial Observer Wings device. She was stationed in Okinawa, Japan with Marine Air Support Squadron 2.
