Madison, WI (July 14, 2015) – Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce Partner Melissa Turczyn will be one of five female panelists on the Wisconsin School of Business alumnae panel, “Navigating Your Career Path,” on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. This premier event is designed to connect University of Wisconsin – Madison women in business and aims to prepare students from all disciplines in their professional careers.
This pilot event will feature Wisconsin School of Business alumnae as they discuss and share their personal and professional experiences. It will also serve as a way for alumnae to connect with one another and help to promote a network in the business community in the future. Turczyn will be joined by panelists Toni Sikes, Co-Founder and CEO at CODAworx, Meg Prestigiacomo, Vice President at Robert W. Baird & Co., Nancy Spelsberg, President at BCP Transportation, Inc. and Anna Lloyd, International Marketing Manager at Trek Bicycle Corporation.
Turczyn is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business and the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is Co-chair of Michael Best’s Venture Best™ Team, and her practice focuses on all aspects of corporate law, with an emphasis on venture capital. Turczyn’s experience includes assisting companies in formation, capitalization and financing strategies, preparation of employment and consultant documentation, review of customer/vendor contracts, review of equity and material transfer agreements and assistance with the negotiation of term sheets, debt and venture financing documents. She also represents venture capital/angel funds and other investors in the venture space.
