Michael Best Makes Technology Donation to Boys & Girls Clubs

Milwaukee, WI (November 3, 2014) – Last week, Michael Best made a generous technology donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. This donation consisted of 90 computer monitors, two scanners, seven computer keyboards, 20 sets of computer speakers and various necessary cables.

“We are grateful to Michael Best for its generosity and investment in our youth,” said Vincent Lyles, president & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. “It’s important for Club members to be able to learn to use technology and have access to computers to complete homework assignments. This donation will help our members in both areas.”

“We are always happy to help out the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee however we can,” Stephen Gigot, chair of the firm’s Milwaukee Committee who is responsible for coordinating the firm’s Milwaukee area community involvement, fundraising and volunteer efforts. “They do such important work for the local youth and we’re glad to be a small part of it.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee offers programs for children and teens and provides educational resources, daily meals, a safe place to learn and a sense of community for Milwaukee youth. Corporate giving is an important source of Boys & Girls Clubs’ funding, making it possible for the organization to continue development of quality programming.
