Michael Best & Friedrich LLP has announced that it has added two former Roylance Abrams Berdo & Goodman LLP attorneys as partners in its intellectual property practice area in Washington, D.C.
Kevin M. Barner and William E. Bradley joined Michael Best on Monday from Washington IP boutique Roylance Abrams — each coming to the firm with 16 years of experience practicing IP law, according to Michael Best. The duo, who have worked together on and off for 10 years, told Law360 on Wednesday that they chose Michael Best because of its Midwest mentality and its ability to provide their clients with a host of services.
“We recognized our clients’ needs required resources greater than what can be offered at a small boutique,” Bradley said. “Michael Best & Friedrich has a deep bench of expertise in many areas that we can tap into in order to provide better service to our clients.”
