Michael Best Strategies Again Welcomes Kim Allen to Healthcare Innovation Team

Michael Best Strategies announced today that Kimberly Allen has joined the Healthcare Innovation Group as an Innovation & Strategy Principal.

Allen will be responsible for identifying and developing new growth opportunities, as well as advising clients on successful growth strategies. With nearly 30 years of experience, Allen is a veteran healthcare executive with experience across all commercial business lines including roles in strategy, product, marketing, and P&L leadership.

Prior to joining Michael Best Strategies, Allen was the Strategist & Regional Vice President of Health Plans for Included Health, formerly known as Doctor on Demand & Grand Rounds Health. In this role, she executed solutions for maximizing and expanding virtual care and drove go-to-market growth initiatives, and she focused on leveraging process leadership, relationship development, and experience to drive access and revenue.

Earlier in her career, Allen spent more than 25 years at Humana, most recently serving as the Vice President of Product Strategy & Management, Commercial Segment. Working alongside the executive leadership team, she directed and developed teams across key skills and methodologies within product strategy, product management, product compliance, product analytics, implementation, product marketing, and corporate proposals.

Allen is a licensed health & accident insurance agent in Wisconsin, and she earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
