Michael Best is pleased to announce it has been selected as the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Partner of the Year. This award is given to an organization that is a corporate member of the LGBT Chamber and has shown a strong commitment to diversity in the workplace and to positively growing the LGBTQ and allied business community.

“We are grateful that our participation with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber makes an impact in Wisconsin, and we are honored to accept the award in recognition of our commitment to inclusion,” noted Jorge Leon and Farrah Rifelj, Co-Chairs of the Firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.

Since 2016, Michael Best has actively been involved in the Chamber and is currently a platinum member. The firm’s employees have been participants in the Chamber’s Leadership Advisory Council and a partner in the 2022 Business Leadership Academy. Michael Best also assisted in the launch of the LGBTQ Entrepreneurial Bootcamp by serving as presenters on business legal structures. The firm remains deeply committed to supporting the LGBTQ business community not only in Wisconsin, but across the country and throughout the legal industry.

The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber will host a reception at their 10-Year Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, September 28 at the Harley-Davidson Museum honoring this year’s award recipients.
