Michael Best Strategies Welcomes Eric Duvall to Healthcare Innovation Group

Michael Best Strategies has announced that Eric Duvall has joined its growing Healthcare Innovation Group as a Principal in the firm’s Waukesha office.

Duvall brings with him years of experience developing and driving a digital platform for consumer health accounts as former Director of Technology Product Strategy for Conduent HR Services. Here, he also developed an investment platform, as well as the tools and education to encourage long-term health savings. Prior to this work, Duvall held a number of leadership positions at Optum, a health services business within UnitedHealth Group, most recently serving as Vice President of Home Delivery Pharmacy Strategy where he led efforts to increase consumer adoption and enhanced capabilities of home delivery pharmacy.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Eric to the Strategies team, his vast experience and strong network of relationships in the industry will be crucial as we look to deepen our connections and continue to grow our client base,” said Rob Marchant, President of Michael Best Strategies. “He is a natural leader that will make a great fit for our team, and in turn our clients in Waukesha and across the country.”

Among his other leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, Duvall also served as Senior Director of Product Management for Optum Cloud, which is now known as Link, where he led efforts to improve healthcare payer and provider transactions. He also spent time as a VP of Health Accounts Product Management.

“Eric’s dynamic experience working with leaders in healthcare consumer engagement and financial services position him well to become an asset to the firm, especially in a time where digital capabilities are of such high importance,” said Kristine Seymour, lead of the Healthcare Innovation Group. “Eric is a prime example of the strong talent the Healthcare Innovation Group has brought in over the past year and will be a welcomed addition to the Waukesha office.”

The addition of Duvall furthers Michael Best Strategies’ dedication to expanding its Healthcare Innovation Group, as it has seen considerable growth in the past year with the additions of John Foley, Aaron Kessinger, Tamara Quiram and Dr. Terry Sullivan to the team as well.

Duvall earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University, and his MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago.
