The Biden-Harris Administration is readying its plans to send to Congress its next major piece of legislation – the Infrastructure + Climate Change + Tax Increase bill. The proposal is likely to address other policy goals, as highlighted in our presentation.
Overall, this far-reaching proposal might be a net $3 trillion spending proposal ($4 trillion minus $1 trillion in tax increases). This is on top of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill that was just recently enacted and in addition to the $6 trillion (and growing) liquidity the Federal Reserve has injected into the financial system.
We hope our overview is helpful to you in sizing-up the Washington, D.C. legislative landscape on these issues.
