Michael Best is pleased to announce that Katelyn A. Pellitteri & Rebecca (Becky) Stifter have been selected to be members of the 2021 class of Pathfinders, participating in a program designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to train high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
“We congratulate both Becky & Katelyn for their selection to the LCLD Pathfinders program,” said David Krutz, Firm Managing Partner. “They each have demonstrated a commitment to Michael Best’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and through the Pathfinder Program, they will have an opportunity to further refine these skills and continue to help shape the firm’s diversity-related policies and procedures.”
Designed to supplement training initiatives at LCLD member corporations and law firms, the Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Further, each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator, a mentor who plays a key role in helping Pathfinders connect what they learn in the program to the organization in which they work. Pathfinders are selected by leaders at LCLD member corporations and law firms. They have been identified as diverse, early-career emerging leaders who have, or have the potential to, distinguish themselves within their organization.
“The LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants intensive training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings,” said Robert J. Grey, Jr., LCLD President. “We believe it’s a program that can enhance a person’s career.”
This year’s 404 Pathfinders will have access to several new virtual event series, which will provide numerous opportunities for small-group interaction and relationship building with their peers. This is in addition to the exclusive leadership and professional-development curriculum—adapted to the virtual environment—that has always distinguished the LCLD Pathfinder Program. This year's participants will also have access to a range of additional programming that was developed for the LCLD community in 2020.
