Responding to a Pandemic: Lessons Learned About Adapting and Preparing Your Workforce for Change

This panel, consisting of Chuck Palmer, Esq., Denise Bode, Esq., and Dr. Mark Roberts, will discuss creating a “new normal” that is sustainable and restores productivity amidst a crisis. The panelists were part of a team that helped hundreds of Agriculture and Food companies and trade associations weather the past year. Through this process they observed, learned from and advised businesses in risk analyses, business planning, employment policies, employee screening, facility restructuring, workplace sanitation, regulatory compliance, government relations and crisis management. These lessons learned include: the value of banding together with friendly competitors, leveraging best practices, exploring and promoting digital technology, and practicing and preparing for multiple outcomes.
