Michael Best’s Kenneth Albridge Honored Among 40 Under 40

Michael Best is pleased to announce that Kenneth M. Albridge, III has been selected as a recipient of In Business magazine’s 2020 40 Under 40 award. The publication’s annual award recognizes young Madison-area professionals who are thriving in their field and making noteworthy contributions to the community through volunteer work and public service.

As a partner and registered patent attorney in the firm’s Litigation practice group, clients rely on Albridge to help resolve complex intellectual property and commercial disputes. Drawing on a strong technical background, particularly in the electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, Albridge has successfully litigated patent infringement cases throughout the United States and has represented clients in all phases of patent litigation and trial. He also has significant experience representing clients in connection with inter partes review proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Outside of practicing the law, Albridge is the President of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association and serves in numerous leadership roles within the American Bar Association’s Section of Intellectual Property Law.

Additionally, Albridge passionately gives back to the community through his involvement serving on the Board of Directors as Secretary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County (BBBS), and in other roles at BBBS including being a member of the Board Governance Committee. He is a volunteer attorney with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program and formerly was a member of the Rotary Club of Madison.

“It is an honor and privilege to be listed as a member of this year’s 40 Under 40 class,” stated Albridge. “I’m looking forward to continuing to build my career and providing positive contributions to the greater Madison community.”

Albridge earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Albridge will be recognized in the March 2020 issue of In Business magazine and honored at a networking reception on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at The Madison Club.
