Michael Best is pleased to announce that Kerryann Haase Minton has been selected by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the 2019 Notable Gen X Leaders in Law. The award highlights 121 of the top practitioners in the greater Chicago area handling intellectual property, corporate restructuring and class-action defense cases. The select recipients focus not only on their robust practice, but devote time and resources to mentoring efforts and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
Minton serves in multiple leadership roles at Michael Best including the Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office, a Firm Management Committee Member, and a Partner in the Labor & Employment Relations Practice Group. Her practice primarily involves counseling and defending employers engaged in litigating employment disputes in all aspects of federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies. In addition to her multifaceted practice, Minton has been a vital voice in the firm’s growth from eight to 13 locations nationwide, and she has actively invested her time and talent as a mentor to shape the next generation of leaders.
