Denver, CO (January 28, 2019) – Michael Best is pleased to announce that Sarah N. Ehrhardt has been included in the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. The award recognizes 40 outstanding local professionals under age 40 for their business success & community contributions.
Ehrhardt serves as the co-managing partner of the firm’s Denver office and works with clients on estate planning, business succession, and trust and estate administration matters. Ehrhardt began her career with Michael Best in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, eventually moving to Colorado where she played an instrumental role in the development and growth of Michael Best’s Denver office. Ehrhardt has established herself as a trusted advisor to clients nationwide, especially in Denver, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee.
In addition to her robust practice, Ehrhardt gives back to the community by utilizing her estate planning skills to assist non-profits in the community. She volunteers her expertise to Rachel’s Challenge, assisting with their planned giving strategies and aiding in their growth within Colorado and the country. Most recently, Ehrhardt began volunteering with the Friends Foundation of the Denver Public Library, with the intent to help grow their planned giving program. She is also on the advisory council with the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Denver. Furthermore, Ehrhardt has been a long-time member of Michael Best’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and the Women’s Development Group.
Ehrhardt has been honored with multiple professional achievements including being named to The Best Lawyers in America® list in the area of Trusts and Estates in 2018 and 2019. She has also been recognized as a Five Star Estate Planning Attorney by Five Star Professional in 2017 and 2018. Ehrhardt has also been recognized as a Wisconsin Rising Star in the area of estate planning and probate by Super Lawyers Magazine, and she received the Leadership Excellence Award from the Financial Planning Association of Southern Wisconsin.
She earned her J.D., cum laude, from University of Wisconsin Law School in 2005 and her B.A., cum laude, from Hanover College in 2002.
Ehrhardt will be honored at an awards program hosted by the Denver Business Journal on March 7 at the Hilton Denver City Center in downtown Denver.
