Collaboration is Key to Effective Cybersecurity Strategy

Aside from grain farmers, most of us can agree that silos are bad, and that collaborative efforts are good. The hazards of departmental divisions become even more clear in the context of data breach security incident response. It leaves an organization vulnerable to loss of data and disruptions to continuity of service, something that could be prevented by collaboration across the enterprise. How privacy, security, and legal departments coordinate to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance could mean the difference between a strong culture of compliance and a data breach disaster.

Join us the evening before IAPP’s Privacy.Security.Risk Conference for an engaging program in the new downtown Austin Public Library. Attorneys and subject matter experts from Michael Best and Stroz Friedberg will discuss what privacy, security, and legal teams can do more effectively when working together as a team to develop a breach mitigation and response strategies.

We will apply for CLE credit in WI, CO, IL, NC, TX, UT, and VA (if applicable).
