Blockchain & Tackling Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in 2019

In the last 10 years, Blockchain has emerged as one of the latest “hot” technologies. Companies are now beginning to expound on its capabilities to secure data and keep threat actors at bay. At the same time, federal regulators and state lawmakers are catching up with technology by passing consumer-focused laws and enforcement agendas that translate to even higher standards for best privacy practices.

Join Michael Best’s Privacy & Cybersecurity team for a CLE panel discussion of the unique attributes of blockchain technology and how it can work as a cybersecurity defense tool to protect our customer data and manage identities. The panel will also provide updates on the new laws, standards, and regulatory agendas to help companies to be compliance ready.

We will apply for CLE credit in WI, CO, IL, NC, TX, UT, and VA (if applicable).
