Partner Leah Ziemba will present “Legacy Contamination: Perspective on End-Users And Manufacturers Responsibilities for Remediation” at the PFAS in Michigan Workshop, “Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances – Contamination of Groundwater, Problem Assessment and Treatment Strategies” on July 26, 2018.

The workshop will provide transparency in information with free exchange of legal, hydrological, regulatory and technical opinions. Principal workshop objectives are to assess the magnitude of the problem, review the technology available to treat affected wells, discuss the need for additional regulations, determine effective ways to communicate risk and recover remediation and compensation costs for those affected by this legacy contamination.
