Milwaukee, WI (March 21, 2018) – Michael Best is pleased to announce that former White House employees Michael J. Ambrosini and Katie S. Hrkman have joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office to work alongside President and Chief Strategist, Reince Priebus. These additions follow the new hire announcement of former White House staffer Victoria Maguire Sendek, who joined the firm in January as Managing Director.
Ambrosini has joined the firm’s government relations and public affairs group Michael Best Strategies as a Principal. He will serve as Priebus’ principal deputy and client manager, coordinating client initiatives, managing new business intake and maintaining client relationships. Earlier in his career, Ambrosini worked in the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of the Chief of Staff. In this role, Ambrosini managed daily operations for the Chief of Staff’s office and served as its primary point of contact. He also oversaw logistics, managed press inquiries, prepared meeting briefings, and developed and published content on digital and social media platforms. Ambrosini previously worked as Business Manager for The Data Trust, implementing strategic planning for investor development and investor relations, and project managing all corporate growth initiatives. Prior to that, he worked for the Republican National Committee as Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman where he coordinated all travel and movements for the Chairman.
As the Director of Operations, Hrkman will manage Priebus’ daily scheduling, oversee travel arrangements, and assist with managing client interactions. Prior to joining Michael Best, Hrkman worked for the White House as the Deputy Director for the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. Hrkman also served as the Member Services Deputy Director for the Republican National Committee and the Member Services Director of Special Projects.
“I’m delighted to welcome both Mike and Katie to Michael Best,” said Reince Priebus. “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside each of them at the White House, and they’re extremely talented individuals who bring a wealth of knowledge to the firm. We’re excited to have them come on board.”
Ambrosini received his B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2013. He belonged to the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and was the recipient of the Maryland Alpha/Robert F.
