Former Special Assistant to the President Tory Maguire Sendek Joins Michael Best as Managing Director in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C - Michael Best is pleased to announce that Victoria (Tory) Maguire Sendek has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as Managing Director. Sendek will report to Reince Priebus, who recently joined as President and Chief Strategist of the firm this year in addition to Chair of the Board of Advisors for Michael Best Strategies LLC.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tory to the firm’s D.C. office,” said Priebus. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with her over the years and her extensive experience directing and implementing initiatives ranging from large scale events to meetings with high profile leaders will be of great service to our office and to the firm.”

As Managing Director, Sendek will supervise and manage the firm’s operations led by Priebus, and will be responsible for coordinating all client initiatives on his behalf. Prior to joining Michael Best, Sendek worked for the White House as a Special Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Scheduling, working with key departments to prioritize and plan meetings and events for the Executive Office of the President. Sendek also managed internal and external communication related to the President’s schedule and worked closely with the Presidential Advance team, United States Secret Service and the White House Military Office.

Earlier in her career, Sendek served as Director of Member Services and Deputy Director of Member Events and Relations for the Republican National Committee (RNC), organizing all national events and meetings for the RNC and acting as a liaison between the RNC Leadership, National Headquarters, and the 168 committee members that serve as the board of directors of the Republican Party.

Sendek received her B.A. in Political Science from Villanova University.
