MILWAUKEE (September 29, 2017) – Michael Best today announced that it has expanded the responsibilities of Milwaukee Office Managing Partner Danielle M. Bergner to include oversight and leadership of the firm's transition to its new office location in the new BMO Harris Financial Center at Market Square in downtown Milwaukee.
Bergner will continue to serve as office managing partner and lead the firm’s real estate development practice, while simultaneously supervising its move to a new building in the commercial financial district in late 2019. With this re-location, Michael Best will become the anchor tenant in the new 60,000-square-foot space being developed by Irgens Partners.
“The expansion of our Milwaukee office has been a priority for us for some time now,” said David A. Krutz, Firm Managing Partner of Michael Best. "Danielle’s expertise leading multi-million dollar real estate projects will help make the transition seamless, and we are pleased that she has agreed to take the helm and accept these additional responsibilities."
The firm has also named Milwaukee partner José A. Olivieri to serve as co-managing partner of the office in order to assist in Bergner's expanded responsibilities.
Additionally, Krutz said that Michael Best will begin exploring expansion options for its existing Waukesha office, currently located in the Riverwood Office.
“Just as we have grown in Milwaukee, so, too, has Michael Best expanded its practice in the Waukesha area,” Krutz said. “Looking toward the future, it’s time for us to explore potential options for increasing our presence in the Waukesha County area.”
