MILWAUKEE (September 19, 2017) – The Wisconsin Law Journal has named Benjamin A. Kaplan a 2017 Up and Coming Lawyer. Kaplan is an attorney in Michael Best’s Litigation Practice Group who focuses his practice on consumer protection, business tort, and class action litigation. The award recognizes attorneys having eight years or less of experience who have shown themselves to be rising stars based on their handling of challenging legal issues, efforts to improve the justice system, and positive impact on their communities.
Kaplan has spearheaded multiple complex litigation matters and for the past six years, he has also led the firm’s litigation associates in billable hours. He has developed effective and creative approaches to improve client services. “Ben adds a lot to every team,” says Michael Best patent litigator, Jon Margolies. “And, the partners all want Ben to be on theirs.”
Kaplan received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
Kaplan will be honored at a Wisconsin Law Journal event at the Harley-Davidson Museum on September 19, 2017.
