Michael Best’s Bradley J. Kalscheur Named 2017 Leaders in the Law

Milwaukee, WI (February 17, 2017) – Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce Partner Bradley J. Kalscheur has been recognized as a 2017 Leaders in the Law by Wisconsin Law Journal. The list celebrates the top judges, attorneys, and legal professionals making a difference in Wisconsin’s legal community.

Throughout his career with Michael Best, Kalscheur has established himself as a leader in estate & wealth planning services & succession planning, counseling clients throughout Wisconsin. Kalscheur serves as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and companies seeking to cost-effectively structure or transfer businesses. Clients value his responsiveness, particularly his ability to help them understand complex property and tax law concepts.

In addition to his roles with Michael Best, Kalscheur actively pursues opportunities to connect with members of the Milwaukee community by serving on the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar. He is also the Public Policy Forum’s representative on the City of Milwaukee’s Ethics Board to help ensure the integrity of how the city’s government runs.

Kalscheur is passionate about participating on Marquette University’s alumni boards. For his eight years of service on the Business Alumni Board and four years on the National Alumni Board, Kalscheur received the Service to the College award from Marquette University’s Business Administration Alumni Association. He was also recognized as a “Partner in Philanthropy” to Marquette University by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter.

Kalscheur is the Chair of the Jesuit Partnership of Wisconsin Province, and he also serves on numerous boards including the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, The Milwaukee Public Library Foundation, and Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Kalscheur earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in 1995 and received his B.S., cum laude, from Marquette University in 1989. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

He will be honored at a dinner hosted by the Wisconsin Law Journal on February 16 at the Pfister Hotel.
