With a new Form I-9, a new president, and potential work visa changes, 2017 should prove to be an interesting year for immigration. In this seminar, attorneys Kelly M. Fortier and José A. Olivieri will look closely at the new “smart” Form I-9 and best practices for employment authorization verification. They will also discuss the potential for post-election immigration reform, including administrative agency priorities; planning ahead for the 2017 H-1B “cap”; green card processing; and international travel.
There is no cost to attend this seminar, but space is limited. We will apply for CLE credit in Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Utah, and Virginia (if applicable). The program is valid for Professional Development Credits for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM, and PHR/SPHR credit will be available.
