Michael Best Plans Move to New Office in Milwaukee’s Commercial Financial District

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 8, 2016) – Michael Best & Friedrich LLP announced that the firm has signed a letter of intent for a 15 year lease as an anchor tenant in the new BMO Harris Financial Center at Market Square project located in the commercial financial district of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The 60,000-square-foot space will be located at 780 N. Water St., and will house approximately 200 Michael Best employees and staff who will occupy the top two and a half floors. The building will include private exterior terraces and ground level retail.

“We’ve been in Milwaukee for over 168 years. We continue to grow as a firm and this move is our commitment to continue to be in the downtown area,” said David Krutz, Michael Best’s Firm Managing Partner. “We know that by teaming up with BMO and Irgens the project will be successful, and we look forward to working in a modern office environment with an emphasis on light, technology, and collaboration.”

Once complete, the new BMO Harris Financial Center will be a 25-story Class-A office tower offering panoramic views of downtown Milwaukee, creating an ideal work environment for the firm and other tenants.

Irgens Partners, LLC is the real estate development firm constructing the new building. Irgens has more than 30 years of experience leading successful healthcare and commercial real estate development projects, totaling more than $2 billion in value.

Michael Best plans to begin occupancy in December 2019.
