Madison, WI (November 3, 2016) – Michael Best recently hosted “Meat & Mingle,” an evening benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County. The event took place at the Robin Room in Madison and included an auction and raffle featuring artisan meat and other foods from Underground Food Collective.
“Giving back is an important part of the culture at Michael Best.” said attorney Tanya M. Salman Michael Best’s Madison office. “We are proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County and their work to help all children achieve success.”
Proceeds from the event will help with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County with costs of in-depth interviews for volunteers, children, and their families; background safety checks; and child development support from professional staff to ensure strong and enduring relationships between children and mentors. The 501(c)3 organization provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
“Michael Best’s generous support helps us build more mentoring relationships between youth and caring, adult volunteers. With 300 kids on our waitlist we count on both volunteers and financial resources to ensure that each Big and Little has a trusting and enduring relationship that helps our youth become successful adults.”
