Employee disability discrimination and accommodation situations can be difficult to navigate given the web of laws and regulations they are governed by. Beyond the letter of the law, these often sensitive situations also require consideration of how decisions might look through the lens of future litigation. In this seminar, attorneys Benjamin T. Johnson, Christopher R. Parker, and Sara R. Whaley will offer their perspective on practical strategies and outcomes learned through several recent disability discrimination jury trials. They will also share lessons on actions you can take to be in the best position to prevail in litigation, such as tracking court rulings, jury instructions, and jury feedback.
There is no cost to attend this seminar, but space is limited. We will apply for CLE credit in Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Utah, and Virginia (if applicable). The program is valid for Professional Development Credits for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM, and PHR/SPHR credit will be available.
