David A. Crass (Partner, Land and Resources Practice Group - Madison Office) will be a guest speaker at the 2008 Environmental Policy and Awards Conference hosted by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) and the Wisconsin Environmental Working Group (WEWG). The event will take place on May 14, 2008 at the Country Springs Conference Center in Pewaukee, WI. Dave's presentation will cover various federal legislative proposals to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and how the EPA may respond to the US Supreme Court decision in Massachusetts v. EPA.
Other topics that will be discussed during this conference include the policies that are being considered by the governor's Global Warming Task Force, the electric rate impacts of climate change regulation, the type of businesses that are likely to be regulated for CO2 emissions, and the economic and job-related impacts of federal climate change legislation.
