Annual Employment Relations Law Seminar

Chicago, IL - Michael Best & Friedrich will once again host one of Chicago's largest employment law seminars on October 7th between 7:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at The Standard Club in downtown Chicago.

Michael Best & Friedrich has hosted this complimentary seminar for human resource professionals for the past four years. The seminar, which attracted approximately 300 attendees last year, provides an update on recent legal developments and offers practical strategies for addressing the everyday issues of human resources management.

Attendees can choose from a selection of workshops that cover a myriad of popular employment-related issues including FLMA, background checks and investigations, strategies for preventing retaliation charges, the ten most common employee benefits mistakes and much more.

After the morning workshop sessions, a luncheon will give the attendees the opportunity to network with the speakers. The seminar then concludes with a session entitled: Stump the Lawyer, where attendees can challenge a panel of highly qualified employment attorneys with difficult employment-related questions.

With nearly 50 attorneys who focus their practice on labor and employment and employee benefits matters, Michael Best & Friedrich provides services to companies, not-for-profits and governmental entities regionally and nation-wide. This practice includes employment counseling, planning, training and litigation, including grievance and interest arbitration, and practicing before the NLRB, state labor relations agencies, OSHA, OFCCP, EEOC, state anti-discrimination agencies, and other state and federal agencies, trial and appellate courts.
