Wellness Programs
Michael Best is dedicated to the health and wellness of all its employees. To that end, the firm offers a comprehensive wellness program for all those who participate in the firm’s insurance program. The wellness program includes a health screening and personal health risk assessment and professional consultation.
The firm encourages participation in the Virgin HealthMiles® program whereby all employees track their fitness and receive cash rewards up to a maximum of $500/year. Discounted memberships to health and fitness clubs are also available, and many of the offices have locker room/shower facilities in the building.
In many of the offices, vending machines are equipped with healthy snacks and those in the Milwaukee office also have the option of participating in the Dinner By Design program where employees may pre-order healthy and delicious frozen meals each month and get them delivered to the firm on the third Thursday of each month. The entrees are ready to heat and eat, and are available for large or small families. This program helps make meal planning easier for those who work long hours and do not have the opportunity to shop and prepare healthy meals. The program also assists employees who are constantly on-the-go with busy family schedules.

CLE Programs
Maintaining attorney legal education credits is critical in the practice of law. Michael Best pays attorney tuition and expenses for CLE programs, as appropriate, in addition to using many quality in-house opportunities to obtain the necessary credits.

A keen understanding of marketing and business development is an important part of any attorneys developing practice. Michael Best offers a team of marketing and business development professionals who can provide individual coaching in marketing and business development.
