Flexible Work Schedules
At Michael Best, we understand that circumstances arise when the traditional work schedule is not feasible. In these cases, we work with the attorney to develop a schedule that will allow the attorney to continue to be productive and efficient using a “non-traditional’ work schedule over a certain time period.
Reduced Hours Policy
Michael Best recognizes the value of and strongly supports reduced work schedules for lawyers in appropriate circumstances. Currently, about 11% of Michael Best lawyers work on a reduced hours basis. This reduced hour policy allows lawyers (women and men) to meet a percentage of time commitment expectation of full-time lawyers while remaining on a partnership track and retaining benefits and bonus eligibility.
