Clients rely on Ed Lawson to achieve their intellectual property goals. Mr. Lawson's practice focuses primarily on intellectual property law, including the preparation and prosecution of United States and foreign patents in technology relating to mechanical engineering, material sciences, dental appliances and water and wastewater treatment. Mr. Lawson also counsels clients on trademark, copyright and technology licensing and development. Most recently, while based in Shanghai, PRC, Mr. Lawson has focused his practice on China, guiding clients on a broad range of issues including intellectual property protection and enforcement and business formation and operation.
