Alexander P. Fraser

Alec Fraser is the leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Industry Group. As a partner, He practices primarily in the areas of commercial lending, derivatives, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He has represented financial institutions and borrowers in secured and unsecured credit transactions of all sizes and types, ESOP loans, venture capital and leveraged buyout financing, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange and other derivatives transactions, reorganizations and workouts, loan syndications and participations, correspondent banking, equipment finance and credit enhancement facilities for industrial revenue and other bond offerings. He has represented financial and strategic buyers, venture capital firms, management groups, publicly-traded and closely-held businesses in mergers, acquisitions and financings of all types, including leveraged buyouts, mezzanine and other venture capital financings and going private transactions. He is a founding member of the Firm's "VentureBest" practice focused on early-stage high technology companies, and the investors and universities that launch them.
