Tom advises Fortune 500 and other national corporations on all aspects of labor, employment and discrimination law. Clients value his extensive, multistate experience spanning a range of industries, including manufacturing, service, chemicals, financial, retail, food, pharmaceuticals, and warehouse/distribution. Clients also turn to Tom for guidance on labor and employment matters arising out of major acquisitions, divestitures, and consolidation of operations.

Beth defends businesses in employment litigation matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act (WFEA), National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), Wisconsin Worker’s Compensation Act, and other state and federal laws.

While pursuing her law degree, Samantha gained valuable experience as a law clerk. She assisted with the drafting, negotiation, and review of a variety of contracts and provided support in litigation matters for a global technology company. José is the Chair of the of the firm’s Higher Education Industry Group and counsels colleges and universities on issues including governance, financial challenges, Title IX, student discipline, employment matters, discrimination, and contract administration. José is also the founder of Michael Best’s Immigration law practice. Clients depend on his deep knowledge of and experience with U.S. immigration law and employment-based immigration matters, including immigration status, permanent labor certification, national interest waiver, adjustment of status, consular processing, citizenship and naturalization, and I-9 compliance.

Joe is a trial attorney practicing primarily in the areas of products liability, class action defense, wage and hour litigation, employee benefits litigation, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial litigation. In this capacity, he routinely helps clients deal with class actions suits across all subject matters and handles all aspects of complex employment litigation including wage and hour suits arising under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state laws, plus benefits litigation.

Lucas focuses his practice in the areas of intellectual property litigation, prosecution, and licensing.
